These are the folks who bring you LifeLine Long distance service and filters for internet... you can also subscribe to their Action Alerts by email. http://www.cc.org/ This is the Christian Coalition of America ---you may not agree with some of the stands (reproduction/control) taken by the president of this organization, Pat Robertson, but the website is filled with good and useful information. http://www.cwfa.org/ Concerned Women For America ---I'd recommend *never* getting on this mailing list unless you like to receive lots of requests---make that pleas---for more money... but the website as well as their newsletter is really filled with current and relevant topics concerning the family. http://www.frc.org/ The Family Research Council --- This site contains a wealth of information regarding state and federal legislation, current issues, events and press releases, as well as quite a large assortment of historical papers and publications. http://www.fotf.org/ 0r http://www.family.org is the website of Focus on the Family---Dr. James Dobson. Though Focus seems sort of trendy and ecumenical in their spiritual position, it really seems that they are seeking to reach the whole of the Christian community. Overlooking this negative, you will find many valuable resources for your family as well as schedules for programs, events and radio schedules. One of their many publications and magazines is Citizen Magazine which is helpful in giving the "inside story" on relevant topics concerning the family in America and federal and state legislative decisions and bills being considered. http://www.aclj.org/ This is The American Center for Law and Justice ---This site is a wealth of information regarding legislation relating to religious freedom in America and information on rights and laws concerning homeschooling, rights of the unborn, freedom of speech, expression and religion. Jay Sekulow's latest cases and much more can be read here. I don't know if you'll be able to read as fast as Jay Sekulow talks, but here, you can subscribe to receive publications, newsletters, and other information. This is an "up-to-the-moment" site for pending federal and local legislation. http://www.wallbuilders.com Wallbuilders is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the Founding Fathers' intent for this country. Their goal is the restoration of the moral and religious foundation on which America was built. One of their foundational verses is: Psalm 11:3, "If the foundations be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?"
