Charity's notes:
I don't use recipes for a good deal of my regular cooking. The following on
your list are things that I "wing". I'll try to get you some recipes for the
others as I have time.
> Beef Stroganoff (I just meat into strips and fry. Then I sauté onion,
mushrooms and garlic, add in some mushroom soup and sour cream. Season. Add
in meat and let simmer for awhile so it can absorb flavors. Pour over rice).
> Scallops (I sauté onion and garlic with scallops, add in some cream and
parmesan cheese and pour over pasta)
> Beef or Chicken Curry (I use a purchased curry mix that comes in a
"brick" and then serve over rice with toppings of coconut, walnut, sour
cream or yoghurt, raisins, pineapple, chutney on the side)
> Salmon Burgers (flake cooked salmon and add egg, bread crumbs,
seasoning, worcestshire sauce and form patties. Fry)
> Cucumber and Egg Slices (slices of cucumber and hard-boiled egg. Add
mayo, sour cream, dill, vinegar)
> Stuffed Tomatoes (Cut a large tomato into quarters not quite all the way
through. Stuff with your choice of pasta salad, potato salad, chicken salad,
tuna salad)
> Deep-Fried Mushrooms (make a thick pancake mix, dip mushroom and deep
fry till golden)
> Garlic Sautéed Mushrooms (sauté mushrooms and garlic in butter until
tender - good topper for steaks)
> Carrot-Zucchini Julienne (cut carrot and zuke into long, thin strips,
Steam lightly with lemon juice and butter. Season).
> French Onion Potatoes (Pour a puddle of olive oil into 13x9 pan. Add in
a packet of French onion soup and about a 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Mix. Add
in potatoes cut into quarters or eighths depending on size of potato. Bake
in 375 oven until tender, stirring occasionally)
Will send the ones which require real recipes as I can.
